Why do Muslims go for Hajj?

(Aali Imraan 97)%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith one%0D%0AHadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiallaahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah%0D%0A(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said "Whoever performs Hajj for the pleasure%0D%0Aof Allah and therein utters no word of evil, nor commits any evil deed,%0D%0Ashall return from it free from sin as the day on which his mother gave birth%0D%0Ato him." (MISHKAT).%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith Two%0D%0AHadhrat Abu Hurairah (Radhiallaahu Anhu) reports that Rasullulah%0D%0A(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "Verily there shall be no reward for a%0D%0Arighteous Hajj except Jannah." (MISHKAT).%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith three%0D%0AAbdullah bin Mas'ood (Radhiallaahu Anhum) reports that Rasullulah%0D%0A(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "Perform Hajj and Umrah one after the%0D%0Aother for surely they (Hajj and Umrah) remove hunger and sins just as the%0D%0Afurnace removes impurities from iron, gold and silver." (ABU DAWOOD)%0D%0A%0D%0AHadhrat ibn Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) relates that Nabi%0D%0A(Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) said "When you meet a Haaji, greet him, shake%0D%0Ahands with him and request him to seek forgiveness on your behalf before he%0D%0Aenters his home because he is (already) forgiven." (MASNAD AHMAD)%0D%0A%0D%0AWARNING%0D%0AAllah Ta'aala says:%0D%0A"and spend of your substance in the way of Allah, and make not your own%0D%0Ahands contribute to your destruction" (SURAH BAQARAH 24)%0D%0A%0D%0AHadhrat Abu Umama (Radhiallaahu Anhu) reports that Rasullulah%0D%0A(Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) said: "Whoever fails to perform Hajj while not%0D%0Abeing prevented from it by a valid necessity or by oppression from an unjust%0D%0Aruler or by severe illness and then passes away in such a state, has the%0D%0Achoice to die as a Jew if he wishes or a Christian if he so wishes."%0D%0A(DAARIMI%2FMISHKAT)%0D%0A%0D%0AVIRTUES OF MAKKAH AND MADINAH%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith one:%0D%0AHadhrat ibn Abbaas (Radhiallaahu Anhu) relates that Nabi%0D%0A(Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) said: "Allah sends down one hundred and twenty%0D%0Amercies on the Ka'bah every day and night. Sixty mercies for those%0D%0Aperforming Tawaaf, forty for those performing Salaat around the Ka'bah and%0D%0Atwenty for those looking at the Ka'bah." (BAIHAQI)%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith two:%0D%0AHadhrat Jaabir (Radhiallaahu Anhu) relates that Rasulullah (Salallahu Alayhi%0D%0AWasallam) said: "Salaah performed in my Masjid is one thousand times%0D%0Asuperior to Salaah performed elsewhere except the Masjidul Haram, which is%0D%0A100 000 times superior to any other Masjid. Salaah in the Masjidul Aqsa is rewarded to%0D%0Athe extent of fifty thousand Salaah, and Salaah in my Masjid (Masjidun%0D%0ANabawi) is rewarded to the extent of fifty thousand Salaah and Salaah in the%0D%0AMasjidul Haraam is rewarded to the extent of one hundred thousand Salaah."%0D%0A(IBN-MAJAH%2FMISHKAT).%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith four:%0D%0AHadhrat ibn Umar (Radhiallaahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu%0D%0AAlayhi Wasallam) said: "Whoever visits my grave, my intercession becomes%0D%0Aobligatory for him." (DARQUTNI).%0D%0A%0D%0AHadith six:%0D%0AHadhrat Abu Harairah (Radhiallaahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah%0D%0A(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said "Between my house and my Mimbar is a%0D%0Agarden from amongst the gardens of Jannah (Rawdul Jannah)."%0D%0A(BUKHARI%2FMUSLIM).
