What animals/seafoods cant we eat? Even if life depend on it? Arent all seafoods halaal?

Okay, I know that we cant eat pork. But anything from the sea? why not? I would like to know the reasons and extractions from relevant sources.Where does it state we cant eat shell fish/other sea foods, considering that everything from the sea is halaal, and need not be slaughted as per islamic rites(i am under correction regarding this). Shukan Brother...

Answer

According to the Hanafis, it is only permissible to eat what falls under the category of fish.
