Clarification for question 580, Music

Question

Assalam-u-alaikum! With ref. to your answer for question no. 580,what is the rulings for the saints like Amir Khusro (he invented so many musical instruments),Nizam uddin Auliya and Khuwaja Moin uddin Ajmeri.

Answer

Shari'ah has prohibited music. The practise of any individual contrary to
express prohibition in Shari'ah does not alter the prohibition.
