Should I keep family ties with relatives who have tried witchcraft on me and my family?

Answer

Maintaining family ties has been strongly emphasised in the Qur?aan and Ahaadith. Similarly, to protect oneself from possible harms is also a Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). One should exercise wisdom and diplomacy in fulfilling both maintaining family ties as well as save oneself from possible evils.

Breaking family ties could lead to many more evils.
