He was a leader%0D%0Ain the knowledge of Fiqh (jurisprudence), Usool (principles) philosophy and%0D%0Abeliefs.' He further states (on pg.1023): Verily he was from the wonders of%0D%0Ahis time and from the beauties of India. People of every field of knowledge%0D%0Awould refer to him and he also know such subjects which people did even%0D%0Aknow . no eye saw the like of him in his qualities of excellence. and there%0D%0Awas no match for him in the entire India sub-continent at that time. He has%0D%0Amany great works such as 'Sharh sullamul Uloom maa almanhiyyaat',%0D%0A'Fawaatihur rahamoot - sharh musallamu thuboot' and others.%0D%0A%0D%0AShah Waliyyullaah (RA) states regarding him, 'He has surpassed great Ulama%0D%0Aand even his own teachers. The reason for it is that he used to always refer%0D%0Ato the works of the Ulama of the earlier times (Mutaqaddimeen) day and%0D%0Anight.
