Who are the people who derserves to be given sadqa
Question
Can you please tell me that who are the people who derserve to be given sadqa.Some say that only those people should be given sadqa who get zakat.But we have poor people living around us who don't derserve zakat but still they are poor.Can we give these people sadqa? Can we give these people sadwa who are poor but not that much to be given zakat.
Answer
If a person has the amount of the Zakaat Nisaab, it will be Haraam upon him
to accept Zakaat. However, he can accept Nafl charity and Sadaqaat without
asking for it. (Shaami pg.360)
