Is it required to say Iqaamat when offering any non-Fard salaat? Is it required for women to say Iqaamat when offering Fard Salaat individually? Can they call Iqaamat when praying behind a man?

Answer

1. Iqaamat is called only when offering Fardh Salaat. (Tahtaawi pg.105;
Qadeemi)
2. It is Makrooh (disliked) for women to call out the Iqaamat when offering
Fardh Salaat individually, even while offering Salaat behind a man. (Ibid)
