When jamaat brothers perform gush, why do they request to speak to the men folk only, even though a male mahram is around? The females may also obtain some enlightment.

Answer

The advice given by the Jamaah to the menfold may be heard behind a curtain,
or alternatively, the menfolk may convey the message to their womenfolk
directly.
