If a person does not perform Salaat and dies, some Shaikhs in the rural areas do not perform Salaat ul-Janazah for him or her. Is this correct?

Answer

There is Janaaza for every pious and sinful Muslim. Probably, the Shaykhs refuse to perform Janaaza Salaat is to emphasise the importance of Salaat.
