Question
Respected Mufti SAhab, Assalamulaikum A person who is travelling in train and has a nightfall In such case if fajr times arrives and there is no water so he can read namaze with tayya muum.But if he does not have new or other paak clothes what one should do to offer namaze so that it does not become Qaza.
Answer
Tayammum is permitted in a train only in the following instances:
1. No water is found anywhere is another coach.
2. There is sufficient dust on places where Tayammum is intended that by
placing the hands, the dust is noticed.
3. In principle, it is permissible to perform Salaat in those clothes which
are impure if no other clothes are available. (Hidaaya vol.1 pg.95; Shirka
Ilmiyyah)
