It is permissible to ban a habitual thief from the Musjid????

Question

Is it permissible to ban a habitual thief from the Musjid when one of the conditions of a Musjid is Izn-e-Aam (general permission)?

Answer

It is permissible to prevent a habitual thief from coming to the Musjid. (Shaami vol.1 pg.661; HM Sa?eed)
