As-salaam-u-alaikum. I would like to know why some people INSIST on switching on all the lights in the house at the time of Maghrib? Is it a superstition? Jazakallahu-khair
Answer
There is no basis in Shari'ah to switch on all the lights of the house
during the time of Maghrib.
If there is no need for the lights, that will be wasting.
