Is Wudhu necessary to touch Ta’leemi books?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to touch the books of Ta’leem such as Fazaail-e- ‘Amaal and Fazaail-e-Sadaqah without Wudhu. 

However, it is Mustahab (preferable) to perform Wudhu before touching them.[1]
