Is it permissible to use breastmilk for treating eczema?
Question
People all over are talking about the benefits of breastmilk, someone is asking if its permissible for her to use her breastmilk for her eczema and can her sisters or friends also use it for their eczema?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If breastmilk has been proven by reliable upright medical professionals to be a viable medicine for eczema and there are no adequate alternatives available, then it will be permissible to use.[1]
