Performing Salah whilst hanging the sleeves of one's Jacket

Question

During winter if a person performs Salah whilst hanging his jacket off his shoulders without putting his hands into his sleeves, will his Salah be valid?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu 'alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, it is Makruh to do Sadal. Sadal is to hang a piece of clothing off of one's body whilst in Salah.[1]

Accordingly, it will be Makruh to hang one's jacket off of one's shoulders without putting one's arms into the sleeves.
