Question

STUDENT APPLICATIONS - DARUL IFTAA 2021/22

Answer

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakatuh.

The Darul Iftaa Administration Department is now receivng applications from students to study at Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah in Sherwood, Durban for the 2 year Iftaa course (2021/2022). The following are required:

1) The report cards from the past 3 years of your Aalim course.

2) Two letters of recommendation from senior teachers at the institute that gives an undertaking of your ability to study Iftaa & an undertaking of your sound Akhlaaq.

3) We require an undertaking from yourself that the course will be taken in the full 2 years. Should you be unsure about your availability for the full 2 years, we will not accept your application. The Darul Iftaa takes a specified amount of students every 2 years & there are waiting lists for applicants who wish to study at the Darul Iftaa. Should you decide to not complete the course after having being accepted, you will be responsible for the financial implications of your decision to the Darul Iftaa.

Once you complete these 3 requirements, we will advise further.

Jazakallahu ~ Khayra,

Wassalamu alaykum.
