Is it permissible to take sleeping pills?
Question
is it permissible to take sleeping tablets if a person cant fall asleep
And if he can fall asleep than can he take to rall asleep quicker
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Sleeping pills have many side effects and can be detrimental to one’s health.
We advise you to consult a medical professional on this issue.
In general, it is not permissible to harm one’s health.
