Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Brother in Islam,
Marigold plants are beautiful and have many health benefits such as:[1]
- Lowering inflammation
- Reducing eye inflammation and conjunctivitis.
- Serves as an antiseptic.
- Heals Skin Wounds, Burns and Rashes.
- Helps Reduce Haemorrhoid Pain.
- Eases Cramps and Spasms. ...
- Repels insects etc.
Accordingly, it is permissible to plant the marigold plants to enjoy the beauty and health benefits of Marigold plants.
The Hindus' use of the Marigold plants as a symbol does not render the Marigold plant as prohibited for Muslims.
