What is the Mas'ala regarding life insurance?

السلام علیکم
Beloved mufti shb i have 2 questions.
1) what is the masla regarding life insurance?
2)a friend of mines work in a company where life insurance is necessary, the company takes out the policy for them and pays for them also. .in this surate haal what will be the ruling?
Need mudallal answer please.

Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
1) All forms of voluntary life insurance are not permissible as they have three prohibited elements in them: interest, gambling and uncertainty.
