Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Brother,

It is natural for you to be upset at being diagnosed with no sperm. You state, you know this is from Allah. Remember, our Imaan is on Taqdeer. Everything is ordained and predestined by Allah. That includes giving children. Allah says:

To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and earth. He creates whatever he wishes. He bestows female (offspring) to whomsoever he wishes and bestows male (offspring) to whomsoever he wishes. Or he grants both male and female and he renders barren whomsoever he wishes. Verily, he is All-Knowing and has the power to do anything. (Shura:49-50)

It is clear from the above verse that giving children is the sole right of Allah Ta’ala. Our responsibility is to submit to Taqdeer and be happy with the decree of Allah Ta’ala. To submit to Taqdeer and to be happy with Taqdeer is Waajib. It is an expression of complete submission of slavery to Allah Ta’ala. This is the greatest form of Ibaadat. Our advice is you change your mindset from being upset to being pleased with the decree of Allah Ta’ala. You will be rewarded for the submission to Taqdeer and it will invoke the mercy of Allah Ta’ala upon you. It is also natural to desire for a child. There is nothing wrong in desiring a child despite the odds of having a child. Ebrahim (Alaihis Salaam) and Zakariyyah (Alaihis Salaam) desired children and Allah Ta’ala granted them their wish against the odds of old age of having children.

Our advice is you adopt permissible means of cure and make Dua to Allah Ta’ala. Thereafter, whatever Allah Ta’ala decrees, that is best for you. Allah Ta’ala says:

Translation: It may be that you dislike something that is good for you and you may like something that is bad for you. (Baqara: 216)

It should also be noted that we are living in a world where parents are contending with rebellious children. Such parents envy people without children. Allah Ta’ala alone knows what is best for you.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
