786. Please can you give me the hadith which says something to the effect of : reward for accepting a returned item.

Answer

Hadhrat Abu Hurayra (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, 'Whoever makes Iqaalah, Allah Ta'ala
will conceal his faults and mistakes. (Abu Dawud; Ibn Maajah)

Iqaalah means the acceptance of the seller to take back the sold item at the
request of the purchaser. (Nasbur Raaya)
