How can one purify his soul according to Islamic teachings and principals

Answer

The easiest way to purify one's soul is to seek the guidance of a saintly
person who adheres to Shari'ah and is well experienced in spiritual
reformation. Insha Allah, under the supervision of a highly qualified
Shaykh, one will attain spiritual heights very easily and quickly.
Obviously, that is upon adhering to the guidance of one's spiritual mentor.
