Do women inherit the loans of their parents?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Loans can be of two types:

1.      Loans owed to your parents

2.      Loans your parents owe to others

Loans owed to the parents: Woman will have a due share in these loans according to their share of the inheritance, when they are paid back to the estate of the parents.

Loans the parents owe to others: These loans will be settled from the estate. If after selling off assets, there are still debts unpaid, then it is not the responsibility of the daughters to pay of the debts of their parents. ^[1][2][3]
