Janab Mufti Sahab, As-Salaam-O-Alai-Kum. I have a question regarding marriage with one's sister-in-law (Wife' sister).

Question

The wife is suffering from epilepsy, the couple have a very young child. Because of her sickeness, the woman is posing a danger for the life of the child. The wife's parents are suggesting to marry her sister, to take care of the child. Is it permissible ? May Allah Bless you with His umpteen rewards.

Answer

It is not permissible to have two sisters at one time in one's nikah. As
long as he is married to the one sister, he cannot marry the other. The
nikah will not be valid.
