Street Dawah - Is it permissible for me?
Question
Bismillah,,Asalamualikum ,
Dear mufti, my self Imran, I'm reading Quran and translation every day from 2 years, few days back I started
Hitting to the street and approached to youngsters and recited few Quranic ayats with translation so they can understand what Allah is telling about.
As parallel I use to visit non Muslim youngsters in street as well, they too liked to listen .
My question is it permissable in Islam for me to do it?
If it's not please elaborate it.
If yes please suggest Kannada and Urdu translation of Quran.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Brother Imran,
We are pleased to note your enthusiasm regarding the Deen. May Allah grant you and us all steadfastness in our path to Allah.
Shariah has placed much importance upon propagating the Deen of Allah. Allah Ta’ala says in the Quran;
قُلْ هَٰذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي
Translation: “Say (O’ Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) this is my way; I invite to Allah Ta’ala, I and whomsoever follows me”. (Yusuf, 108)
It was the sacred duty of all the Ambiya (Alayhim As-Salatuwa Salam) to invite towards Allah Ta’ala and His commandments. The Sahaba, the Tabien and all those who came after them followed the Ambiya in inviting towards Allah Ta’ala and his Deen. Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has greatly encouraged the Sahabah (Radhiyallahu Anhum) to propagate whatever they heard from him, even if it was one sentence. Consider the following hadith:
عن عبد الله بن عمرو أن النبى - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال « بلغوا عنى ولو آية ... »
Translation: It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr (Radhiyallahu Anhu) that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single verse or sentence…”
(Sahih Al Bukhari Vol.4 Pg.175 - Darul fikr)
However, the field of Dawah and propagation is one of great responsibility and accountability.
Hence, it is equally important to first acquire the appropriate knowledge before propagating it to others as the foundation of beneficial Dawah is knowledge. If one does not equip himself in a suitable manner before propagating his message, he may become a means of misguidance rather than guidance. Therefore, we strongly advise you to attach yourself with a local scholar, if you have not already done so, and continue your journey under his expertise and wisdom.
As for the Quran translations, we suggest Mufti Taqi (Rahimahullah’s) Urdu translation of the Quran, ‘Aasan Tarjuma Quran’ and you may ask a local scholar for a reliable Kannada translation of the Quran as we are unacquainted with the Kannada language.
