Question

Wanted to know liquid medication will alcohol in it is it halaal to use ?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, alcohol derived from grapes and dates is not permissible. When it comes to medication, alcohol derived from any substance other than grapes and dates is permissible provided the alcohol does not intoxicate and the medication is not abused.

We cannot issue a ruling on the Halal nature of the medication in reference as we are unable to determine the source of the alcohol.
