Marrying a girl for her beauty?
Question
She is an alima, Fluent in Arabic and English, both of her parents are very much involved in dawah work, she teaches local girls and women at her home.
From deeni prospective she is best I can think of.
She has good manner and conduct, smiling face etc.
As beauty is subjective, my mom says she good looking but i didn't found her attractive in that way.
I am really confused, doing istekhara since last three days but unable to make a decision.
Will i develop romantic feelings towards her eventually after marriage??
Does rejecting her means going against prophetic recommendation as per Hadith.considering our ultimate goal is to be successful.
A woman is married for four (qualities): Her wealth, her nobility, her beauty and her piety. Be successful (by choosing) a woman who is pious. May your hands be soiled (This is an Arabic expression meaning: I encourage you to do thus). (Bukhāri/ 5090; Muslim/3620)

Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Brother in Islam,
The Hadeeth in reference is a recommendation to consider the religiousness of a spouse and to achieve a successful and prosperous marriage. If you decide not to marry the girl in reference as you do not find her attractive, then that is your right.
We advise you to continue making Isthikhara until you are completely satisfied on your decision to marry her or not to marry her.
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
