assalamualikum,I Have an issue with a Bank,
Question
I Have an issue with a Bank, ie, My Mother should have got the FundsWhich were alloted to my Dad(late), and the Bank's delayed in handing the papers to the Regional Off, and due to it it got delayed by an year andtill to date we didnt got funds, can I sue the bank and claim for the damages as compensation ,coz, we'ran in debts(since no one was an earnin member in my famil, then), expecting the money and is the money halal , if we get as a compensation alloted by a court of Law,for the above issue .. Pls reply on this, Wassalam
Answer
In principal it is not correct to sue for the inefficient administration of
delays. However, a 'request' may be presented to the Bank to consider the
damage and grant an adequate compensation.
