Wages from the national lottery fund. Is it permissible for me to take such money?
Question
Salaam I have received a job offer for a local charity. I have now become successful and have 1 week to give a reply as to wether I would like tk take on this opportunity. Unfortunately after becoming successfil I have learned that part of my wages could be coming from a national lottery fund.
Is it permissable for me to take such money? If not then I would let this job go and InshaAllah have faith that I will be blessed wih something better.

It is encouraging to note your passion and zeal to live your life according to the teachings of Islām. We make du’ā that Allāh Ta’āla grants you the ability to remain steadfast on Deen.
Sharī’ah has emphasized on earning halāl income.
Consider the following hadith:
طَلَبُ كَسْبِ الْحَلَالِ فَرِيضَةٌ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ
“Seeking halāl earning is an obligation after the primary obligations. (Sunan Bayhaqi)[i]
It is permissible to take up employment at your local charity, which is funded by the national lottery fund.[ii]
