Please explain in detail the virtues of performing Ibadat on Inaam-Raat (the night before the Day of Eid – 1st night of Shawwal).

Question

What kind of Ibadat is preferred on this night? Please quote all available Ahadith about this that may be available. May Allah S.W.T. accept our Fasting (Syam), Aameen.

Answer

There is no specific ibaadat (worship) to be performed in the night before
Eid. One may engage in any form of ibaadat, salaah, zikr, dua, tilawaat,
etc.
