Followers of 4 Imams

Question

Most of the Indian, Pakistanis are Hanafi, and Middle Eastern are Shafi and Hambli. Why is that? Did Mohammed Bin Qasim RA brought Hanafi beliefs to Indian sub continent when he came to sindh? JazakAllah Khair

Answer

We are not sure of the origin of the Hanafi school of thought in India and
Pakistan.
