Islamic state in non-Muslim country
Question
Salaam
How can muslims create an islamic state in a non muslim country whereby the muslims can practice the full shariah because no non muslim country allows muslims to practice the full shariah
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If one is at liberty to practice the essentials of Islam in a country and he has no fear for his life, wealth or dignity, then he should remain in that country and practice Islam. He should use the opportunity to propagate Islam to the best of his capability, as propagating Islam helps strengthen ones Iman.
It is compulsory upon a citizen to abide by those laws of the country that are not un-Islamic. Therefore, one must be a law-abiding citizen at all times, without causing chaos and confusion. Presently, Muslims are able to practice and propagate Islam freely in Non-Muslim countries. In fact, some non-Muslim countries allow Muslims to practice on Islam more easily than Muslim countries. Muslim minorities in Non-Muslim countries should value such an opportunity and avoid any irresponsible conduct and attitude. Create Islamic conduct within yourself and propagate Islam and Islamic conduct. That will eventually lead to an Islamic state.
