Should I follow 18 degrees or the 3am suhoor time?

Question

Asalam alaikum My husband works away from home in another European country and follows the 3am suhoor times. I am in London following the 18 degrees suhoor times. I work and felt this was easy for me. My husband is visiting us for a few days and so should I switch to his times or should he follow the 18 degrees suhoor times. If I start with 18 degrees should I continue this until end of Ramadan or can I do the 3am fast just to accommodate my husband for a few days. Many thanks

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We take note of the information provided.

We advise you and your husband to continue following the local time of London (18 degree Suhoor time).

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
