Can i be a physics teacher according to islam?

Brother in Islam,

In principle, it will be permissible for you to become a physics teacher. Islam does not oppose studying science and any branch of science. However, if there is anything that apparently contradicts our beliefs, then we will discard that aspect and rely on Quran and Sunnah. We have to believe that whatever is in the Quran and Sunnah is Haqq (the truth).

History testifies to the fact that there have been many Muslim scientists in the past who were pioneers in their respective fields. Many of their discoveries and inventions are still used by modern science, attested to by even non-Muslim scientists. For example, Abu Nasr-Al-Farabi, Al-Battani, Omar Khayyam, Jabir ibn Haiyan, Ibn Ishaq Al-Kindi, Ibn Al-Haytham, Ibn Zuhr, Ibn Al-Baitar etc. However, they never made religion conform to science, rather, religion for them was unaffected by science.

We also advise you to stay connected to reliable scholars, so that if any issue arises which you are unsure about, you can refer to them. We also advise you to stay in the company of a reliable spiritual guide and seek advice and guidance from him.
