Getting involved into the work of Tabligh now
Question
Assalamualaikum.
I'd used to be an occasional participant in the tableeghi jamaat movement in India. Unfortunately, became ignorant for quite some time. However I intended to get back on track but I was recently made aware of the split in the leadership ranks of the jamaat at the highest level which I found very unfortunate.
Now this has put me into a confusing situation. How do i get involved in this work and which jamaat should I follow.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
We are pleased to note that you intend involving yourself with the noble work of Tabligh.
The split in the noble work of Tabligh is unfortunate.
However, we advise you to engage in the noble effort of Tabligh solely for the pleasure of Almighty Allah. Avoid involving yourself in controversies pertaining to leadership. Attach yourself to a spiritual guide and seek his counsel and guidance in all issues.
