Does mentioning an incident of kufr take one out of the fold of Islam?

Question

I was talking with my collegueas at work regarding a man who claims to be a prophet. In refering to the person I used the title given to him by the media. I said "Prophet So-So"... I do not think he is a prophet and did not intend to refer to him as one.

Is this an act of Kufr?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

No. It is not kufr.
