Iblees is imprisoned in the month of Ramadan by Allah Ta-alla. Please give some authentic Hadith to verify this.

Question

Some of my friends say that this is not true but I want to convince them that Satan is imprisoned in the month of Ramadan and it is our ?nafs? which leads us to commit any sin in this holy month. Please verify this fact with authentic Ahadith or Ayahs from the Quran. Jazakallah.

Answer

Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, the shaitan is chained in the month of Ramadaan
(Mishkaat, Volume. 1- Chapter of Fasting, Qadeemi)
