Question

1.what does it really mean? 2.who are wahabies?

Answer

1. The word, Jihaad, originates from the Arabic root word, 'Jahada' which
literally means the undergoing of some exertion / strain, etc.
However, the Shar'ee meaning of Jihaad is, 'the spending of one's energy in
fighting against the disbelievers either directly or by means of assisting
the cause monetarily or by way of forwarding one's opinion or by joining in
the ranks of the Mujaahideen.
2. They are the followers of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhaab ibn Saud, a
follower of the Hanbali Madhab.
