Can boys use whitening creams?
Question
Assalamualaikum, my skin get darker because of lazyness not using soap and not taking care of it , as a boy can I use a whitening cream which is also work as sunscreen.
Is it against the sunnah and is it makrooh
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to use a whitening cream as long as there are no haraam ingredients in the cream. [1]
