My friend asked me a question the other night and it kept me thinking, the question was: Would you save a single muslim person instead of 100 non muslim person.

Your question is unclear. Nevertheless, Islam teaches us to be kind and helpful to every human being, irrespective of him being a Muslim or non-Muslim. To assist non-Muslims is also an act of virtue.
