Is correct to use prayer mats with the picture of the Kaa`ba on it
Question
We get some prayer mats (musallahs) on which the picture of the kaa`ba is printed. Is it not disrespectful to place them on the floor, sit on them or stand on them?
Will this not lead to disrespecting the kaa`ba?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
As-salaamu `alaykum wa-ramatullahi wa-barakatuh.
We advise against prayer mats (musallahs) with the picture of the kaaba on it. There is an element of disrespect in such a musallah.[1]
And Allah Ta`ala Knows Best.

قال: (ويكره أن يكون قبلة المسجد إلى حمام أو قبر أو مخرج) لأن جهة القبلة يجب تعظيمها والمساجد كذلك قال الله تعالى: {في بيوت أذن الله أن ترفع ويذكر فيها اسمه} [النور: 36] ومعنى التعظيم لا يحصل إذا كانت قبلة المسجد إلى هذه المواضع التي لا تخلو عن الأقذار

لأن معنى التعظيم والتشبيه بمن يعبد الصور تنعدم هنا، وكذلك إن كانت الصورة على الأرض والأزر والستور،
