i have a few questions regarding the way of the sunnah. The prophet when he used to pray he prayed in one way, so how comes muslims all over the world pray in so many diffrent ways?

Question

i follow the hanafi madhab my friend who is a salafi says im blindly following imaams teaching and says i have no proof in the way i pray is right. He keeps showing me the way he prays is correct because he says he has proof he keeps showing many hadith from bukhari to show he is reading the correct way. I have no proof to show him the way i pray is the correct way? if you could just clarify those situations for me jazakallah i would be most grateful for your time.
