Teeth whitening powder with charcoal derivative
Question
Is it permissible to use charcoal (of wood) / charcoal (of wood) derivative as an ingredient for a tooth whitening powder?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to use a whitening powder which has charcoal derivatives provided it does not contain any other haram ingredients.
