Ghusal without soap

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is not necessary to use soap when making ghusal.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best

وَأَمَّا فَرَائِضُ الغُسْلِ

فَالمَضْمَضَةُ

وَالاسْتِنْشَاقُ

وَغُسْلُ سَائِرِ البَدَنِ

وإيْصَالُ المَاءِ إِلَى مَنَابِتِ الشَّعْرِ وَإِنْ كَثُفَ بِالإِجْمَاعِ

وَكَذَا إيْصَالُ المَاءِ إِلَى أَثْنَاءِ اللِّحْيَةِ وَالشَّعْر
