Uploading lectures to YouTube

Question

My wife has been studying advanced arabic through ACCESS online course offered by Bayyinah Institute (Nouman Ali Khan) in order to understand the Quran better. Before our marriage she studied in a madrassa but didn't complete the alima course. She is gathering Quranic information in English & Arabic and trying to present the same in our local language in India (Tamil) through Youtube uploads. She just started with one video, ofcourse with her voice only without showing her face or other body parts.

My question is, Is it allowed for woman to upload religous lectures in Youtube without showing her face?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your wife did not complete her Aalima course. She is presently studying Arabic to understand the Qur’aan. She has not completed her studies in Qur’aan and Tafseer and she is not qualified to gather Quranic information to educate others at this stage.
