Can I read story books with pictures of animate objects in it?

Question

Assalam Aleikum! Can I read children books to my daughter where are a lot of pictures of animal and people? Or I should paint out there heads and then they become permissible?

As-salaamu `alaykum wa-ramatullahi wa-barakatuh.

Story books with pictures of animate objects is not permissible.

You may purchase Islamic story books which do not have pictures of animate objects.

You may refer to this link for story books without pictures.
