During the khutbah in the Friday prayers, what is supposed to be recited between the 1st and the 2nd khutbah.

Question

This is when the Imam sits down for a couple of minutes.

Answer

There is nothing to be recited between the two Khutbahs of a Friday. The
Khateeb and congregation should maintain silence and brace themselves to
listen to the next Khutbah.
