Zakat Funds
Question
Assalamu alaykum respected ulama,
I would like to entrust the payment of my zakat to you, however the payfast account you have set up for the benefit of international donors does not appear to distinguish between zakaat and lillah funds, the way that the bank accounts are separate. Can I pay through the one payfast account, and will it be recognised as zakaat money?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
You may transfer your Zakat funds via our Payfast account and reference it with your name. Kindly notify us the amount you put in via email.
