What is the view on one's salaat if one is wearing externally applied alcohol-containing medication?

Answer

If the alcohol is from dates or grapes extract, it is impure and must be
washed for performing Salaat.

If the alcohol is synthetic, then it is not impure and does not need to be
washed before performing Salaat.
