Naming House Sidrah
Question
Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Mufti Sab,
I am thinking of a house name for my home. I have "SIDRAH" in my mind. Do you think it's a name that can be given to home?
Appreciate your response please. Jazakallahu Khair.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Sidra means lote tree. Sidrat al-Muntaha is the lote tree at the highest boundary in the heavens.[1]
Sidrah or sidra is a suitable name for your house.
And Allah Ta‘ālā Knows Best.
